Bayside Youth is the youth ministry of Bayside Chapel for students in 6th-12th grade. Our goal is to create an environment where students feel safe, loved, and encouraged to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

We are not a NEXT generation ministry, we are a NOW generation ministry, believing that our students are called to serve their local church, schools, and communities right now. We are excited because we believe that God is doing something new in this generation and we will do whatever it takes to continue to be a light in a dark place.

We meet almost every Tuesday night from 6:30-8:30PM. The first thirty minutes of our program is designed for students to connect with each other and our leadership team. The remainder of the evening includes games, praise and worship, and a relevant Biblical teaching. For the remaining time students are placed in gender and grade based small groups where they discuss questions based off of that night’s teaching.

Starting in 2018, Bayside Youth, in partnership with Treehouse, will host faith-based support groups for students on a weekly basis. Through these support groups, students are able to talk about personal issues they are dealing with in an environment that is safe and encouraging. We believe that students are lovable, capable, and worthwhile. We love students, without strings. And we believe that students are not alone.

During the 9:00am service on Sunday mornings, we offer a continuing Bible study for Middle Schoolers in the Student Center. This time is designed to encourage middle schoolers in their walk with Christ while also allowing them to transition from Kids Ministry into Youth Ministry. We cover various topics middle schoolers are dealing, as well as teaching them how to study the Bible for themselves.
